You have a whole month to enjoy the Pyrmont Festival.

The Festival headliner event is the 2-Day Food & Wine Event in Pirrama Park but is backed up by a huge selection of smaller events run by local businesses through the month of May.

FOOD & WINE EVENTS

The Pyrmont Festival program runs from 1-31 May 2025. This year our local businesses feature a mix of food and wine experiences created to entice Sydney-siders to the area.

2-DAY FOOD & WINE EVENT

17-18 May IN PIRRAMA PARK - PYRMONT

11AM-5PM EACH DAY

Marking its 12th Anniversary this year, the popular outdoor festival will bring together the very best food, wine and art offerings across two glorious days in Pirrama Park this May.

This year is bigger and better with over 15 wineries, breweries and distilleries plus gourmet food trucks and stands across a diverse range of cuisines.

Daily Wine Tastings at Pyrmont Cellars all month

Drop in for a Wine Tasting at 119 Harris Street, Pyrmont (across from Union Square). They will showcase wines on offer throughout the festival.

Get off the beaten track and see Sydney from a local’s perspective!

Explore 3 historic suburbs – Pyrmont, Ultimo and Glebe – on this fun and relaxed walk, while tasting a range of iconic Aussie foods and learning about Australian culture and society.

Masterclass with Julia Busuttil Nishimura

Julia Busuttil Nishimura is a much-loved cook, author and presenter whose food is influenced by her Maltese heritage, the ebb and flow of the seasons, and by her time spent living in Tuscany. She'll be bringing her love of pasta and Italian food and the joys of the Italian kitchen to this very special cooking class.

This class lives up to its name: in not much more than an hour, we'll teach you everything you need to know about filleting a fish: what tools you need, what kind of fish to buy, how different shaped fish need different treatments, and a host of essential filleting techniques.
